Arthroscopic surgery
Precise visualization, minimal incision, and faster recovery. Arthroscopy allows for the visualization, diagnosis, and treatment of internal injuries with high precision.
A timely diagnosis can make all the difference in your recovery.
Artroscopia posterior de tobillo
Arthroscopic surgery is a minimally invasive surgical technique that allows for the treatment of various foot and ankle conditions through small incisions (generally less than 1 cm) and the use of an arthroscope—a high-definition optical device that projects the inside of the joint. This technology enables precise visualization of joint structures and allows procedures to be performed safely and effectively without the need for open surgery.
Dr. David Campillo applies this advanced technique to treat complex conditions that, due to their location or nature, would be difficult to access through conventional surgery. Arthroscopy allows direct intervention on tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and bone, significantly reducing surgical trauma, wound-related complications, postoperative pain, and the patient’s recovery time.
- Chronic ankle instability
- Osteochondral injuries
- Tendinopathies
- Anterior or posterior impingement syndromes
- Post-traumatic sequelae such as joint stiffness
- Support in the reduction of acute fractures
- Joint fusion surgeries or arthrodesis
- Tail of the talus syndrome
Artroscopia anterior de tobillo
Arthroscopy, one of the most effective therapeutic tools
Thanks to its high precision and reduced invasiveness, arthroscopy represents one of the most effective and safe therapeutic tools in the surgical treatment of the foot and ankle.
